UPDATE: Believers Arrested in Uzbekistan Prevented from Meeting + +

Recently, we reported on a group of believers that were arrested during a prayer and worship meeting in one of their homes. The arrest included men, women and children. Although they were released, these Christians have been waiting to learn their legal fate.

While the eight Christian men still have not heard from police, they were called to the local Muslim committee where they were told they were not allowed to hold any more Christian meetings. Local believers suspect one of their fellow Christians is reporting information to the police. As a result, believers are being even more careful and have cancelled some meetings for the time being.

Please pray for the safety of the Christians in this area.
