Just read a little sermonette about replacement theology, that’s the idea the Church has replaced Israel as the apple 🍎 of His eye type thing. There are scriptures which allude to such concepts but I think some folks take it to far. Mostly the self-proclaimed reformed movements, extreme calvinists and others from various denominations seem to accept and cling to replacement ideas.

The term used by most scholars is supersessionism, this is where the church supersecedes Israel. This idea has been around for quite some time and it’s rotten to its core. Most adherents ignore scripture concerning Israel and the Jews, Romans 11 is one, the Isaiah chapters 60 onward speak of a future Israel also, one being blessed along with gentiles.

Just gets a little old when you disagree with them they go full covid cult like and refuse anything that destroys their narrative, often reverting to derogating facts down to “your a zionist” name calling crap.
