Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Something to often ignored. 

People can turn their back on righteouness, they can deny morality and embrace wickedness. But one thing remains true, when the righteous rule people do rejoice because they know justice will prevail.
