Sitting & Thinking

I wonder sometimes how those calling themselves Christian can so easily dismiss Scriptural truths but I guess it’s symptomatic of the fact that sin has entered the Churches and people have again become “dull of hearing” and simply ignore the truth of sin, of righteousness, and judgment.

Judgment begins in the house & family of GOD. We are suppose to be that light shining in the darkness of sin, but we are extinguishing those lights one after another letting sin and wickedness grow.

So to Christians, repent of our apathy and humble ourselves before a Living Savior.

Scripture of the Day

John 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

Our Savior told the Apostles certain things concerning His ministry when He had dtermined the time was right. Our desire to know what the Lord has planned for our lives means very little to that Divine timeline which exists with the Creator Himself.

We may plan and plot a course of action, even asking for divine guidance in our endeavors, but unless GOD wills it, those actions generally end in failure.

We need to read Scripture, earnestly pray in faith, and consider every option when considering what we think the Lord wants us to do so we do not end our attempt in futility.

The Lord will reveal to us what is needed at the proper moment & not before.

GOD Bless.

Loves Work

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Loves work for believers includes loving our enemies as the Savior stated on the Sermon of the Mount.

This may seem foolish in todays world of perpetual violence and death but regardless, as Christians we are told this is one of the ways the world will know who we are.

Love requires more than feelings, love is manifested in how we treat others.

So do good and remember the above quoted verses. Praise our Savior, Jesus the Christ.

Scripture of the Day

Matthew 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

When you consider the role and importance of stepfathers, remember Joseph. His stepson was the Son of GOD, the Creator knew Joseph would be a worthy steward and father to HIS Son.

Being a stepfather is as important as being the childs actual father.

So if you feel like you’re spinning your wheels trying to raise a stepchild, remember, whatever you do directs that child in their adult life.

Life and Light

John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

These words were recorded for posterity by the Apostle John. The only one of twelve to die a natural death.

The Word or Logos was with GOD in the beginning and is also GOD, the second part of the triune GOD.

In these first few verses we can find the eternal divinity of the Son or Word.
The Word was both with and is GOD and by Him all things were created. All things were made by and for Him, by Him all things continue to exist.
This entire universe exists because the Creator wills it to exist, yet the conscience of the living exists both in His will yet free to decide its own destiny either in obedience and love or disobedience and sin.

In the Word was life, in Him is found true love. That love & life was our example of who the Father is.
In His life we see the love of the Father toward humanity. In Him we see and find forgiveness and reconciliation.
Jesus willing gave His life as the final sacrifice for sin, Himself being the unblemished lamb of God.

What Christ Jesus came to earth to achieve can be seen by the world, as the only light in a world of complete darkness.
Yet mankind continually turns back into the darkness, turning their back to that one holy light.

Now as then, this old world is blind to who He was, but at times it is a willful blindness. People chose to remain in sin and still choose wickedness rather than righteousness.
They could not comprehend what they were not taught. Those entrusted with the knowledge of the coming light failed in their duties to teach the peoples properly.
Instead, being content in their own part and parcel those false teachers turned away from the people and tried facing the light, but only enough to get a glimpse and hating that which they saw.
They made themselves out to be the doorway to that light but turned away all that came willingly to find it.

So to help all of those who wanted to come to the light, He came. He came to give them life and light, the ability to live and to see.
He came to love, to comfort, to guide and to teach. He came to restore that which was lost, that being fellowship with the Father.

While We Slumber

While we slumber as if in a drug induced stupor, the world careens toward a global conflict that threatens to engulf the world.

While the US administration seems adamant on keeping the unthinking masses focused on ascinine issues such as who uses what restroom, or vacations, or on the elections; countries are positioning their military assets in preparation for the coming conflict.

Economic collapse & WW3

South China Sea & WW3

WW3 by May 2017

Could this trigger WW3?

All across the spectrum there is story after story of countries prepping for war. From Asia across the Middle East to Europe. Both North & South America are also included.

The Liar and Chief of the US recently that we are living in one of the most peaceful times in history. Again lying to the people to keep their minds in a complete stupor.

There may be blurbs about nations moving assets but nothing on the level it should be. Instead its gender identy… complete stupidity on the part of the media and our leaders.
Europes invasion by Muslims is only one aspect on an ongoing campaign of destabilisation of independent states.
The global oligarchs seem intent on creating as much chaos as they can, whether utilizing Islamic extremists or pushing the limits with military intrigue those in power are hellbent on war.

The obvious question is why?

The old saying ” follow the money honey ” is very applicable to this situation if it is examined with an open and inquiring mind.
From the collapse of ’01 & ’08 until today the world has been in the longest recession/depression in recent history.
All economic data being fed to the public is so medicated you would think the reports come out of big pharma instead of economic think tanks.
From unemployment to goods & services, commodities to trade, over 90% of the data is corrupted and convoluted to maintain the appearance of normalcy.
With the artificial bubbles created by Central Bankers nearing their limits and populations across the world growing weary of their antics and/or outright corruption the Planners and their sycophants in goverments need something extreme to draw the attention away from them and war is their greatest asset.

So as the world careens toward conflict those in power continue to plan and scheme while the people slumber.

Reasons For

Noticing the rise of the presumptive Republicrat nominee I understand that “there is a vibration through the ether which is spiritually harmonizing with the central thoughts of the collective emotional” ………… yeah…….. ok, so much for the New Age interpretation of whats going on, lets look at facts and Scripture shall we.

The rise of the Donald isn’t some mystical ascension of some collective anger from the population of America, nor is it some massive retaliation of the citizens against the fascist state as it exists with the United States as wonderfully described by John Whitehead which can be read here, Fascism American Style.

The rise of the Donald is the result of a nation that is in a complete spiral downward into sin and judgment. One article notes twenty five signs, most are non-religious in nature, 25 signs. Another prominent evangelical leader, Franklin Graham writes a similar warning in 2013, it can be found here, warns wicked america. Also the daughter of Billy Graham wrote an article concerning the United States entering its final stages before judgment, that article can be found here, Judgment for Wickedness. Anne also wrote a very good article about America needing to repent for its sin, it can be found here, Time to get serious.

There are hundreds of people calling this nation to repentance, stating the obvious, that sin and wickedness is prevailing in our society which claims to be Christian but as a whole it generally rejects the precepts of the Christian faith, those being ” love the LORD your GOD, and love your neighbor as yourself “.

The reason I state that the rise of the Donald is due to America’s wickedness is because the Donald is the proverbial political rights antithesis to Obama. Diametrically opposed in almost every political category or opinion. Whereas the Obama administration is very socialist in nature the Donald is nationalistic in nature; which although that in and of itself is not a sin nor wrong, his views will take the pendulum from the far left back to the far right.

How do I know this, well its pretty apparent if someone dissects some of his statements. His opinion concerning what is commonly understood to be torture for one should be the primary red flag for Christians in this nation. His views of ” enhanced interrogation ” can be read at these links to stories:

Enhanced Interrogation – CNN

Torture Works

Americans Agree with the Donald

Although I do not agree with 90% of the stories the Liberal Mainstream Media puts out for public consumption these are a few of hundreds of stories which can be referenced for those who can read more than 144 characters.

The fact that enhanced interrogation does not work seems to be missed and ignored by those within the halls of government and the mainstream media. Here are several stories which SHOULD be referenced to prove this point, each story has credible verifiable links which can SHOULD be read for those who again, can read more than 144 characters.

Torture: An Executive Summary

Trump Calls For Waterboarding And “A Lot More,” Clinton Says Torture “Not Effective”

Although Hillary would be a horrible candidate for the executive position at least the old crone is stating the obvious, that torture doesn’t work, although history has proven that Obama and the demonrats are using it just as effectively as the republicrats are.

When the majority of people in this nation believe that torture or enhanced interrogation is an acceptable method of justice to be used by those in authority then we should know that the pendulum has swung back to the far right, beyond the norm.

Who do you think enhanced interrogation is reserved for? Strictly for use against so-called terrorists? Well here is what Americans and Christians in particular should read concerning who is considered as potential domestic terrorists, reports and stories taken from the governments own publications.

And yes, this is your responsibility to research as well as mine, if you are to lazy and apathetic to do the research yourself then this article is a waste of your time so please move along because it isn’t meant for your.

As you can plainly see the government under both the Bush and Obama administrations have used and expanded their mythical war on terrorism as an excuse to bring down the heavy hand of the police state upon the American people. Whether left or right it’s totally irrelevant, what matters is that the government is preparing to come down hard on the citizens of this nation; and when the majority of people think torture is acceptable to use against suspected terrorists its not much of a stretch to say that those on the list above are going to be targeted.

So again, the reason for the rise of the Donald isn’t because he is an outsider, nor due to Americans anger at the establishment, it is because of Americans acceptance of sin and the Christian communities docile method of confronting the wickedness of this nation.

When I hear Christians leaders calling for prayer for this nation the only scriptures which come to my mind are these, Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear you. Jeremiah 14:11 Therefore do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer on their behalf, for I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their trouble. Yes I understand where it mentions in the Scriptures about “standing in the gap” and “if my people will humble themselves” but there is a limit to the patience of the Father, and when that limit is reached there is no hope for repentance, whether personal or national.

So please, do your own research, pray faithfully, and search the scriptures with a humble heart asking the Lord for direction and for an answer.

Good day.

Hiatus

temp-hiatus

It has been seven or so months since my last post of news from abroad. I have been taking a hiatus from several things during this time because of both spiritual and physical needs and events.

Some of which are taken care of, some are not, some are still a work in progress but I will attempt to stay on top of this blog as the Lord and time allows.

Several events have occurred in the absence of posting here, one of which is the ascension of the Donald as the presumptive nominee of the republicrat party. I have been watching this ascension for sometime and will comment on it in another post, but suffice to say, myself, I am not impressed with any candidate running in this election cycle, the only true Constitutionalist running was Senator Rand Paul. He dropped out early because he could not hold the attention of the anesthetized American public. But that is a story for another post.

Thank you and stay tuned.

Christians wonder: Why won’t President Obama acknowledge Christian persecution in light of Oregon shooting?

Christians wonder: Why won’t President Obama acknowledge Christian persecution in light of Oregon shooting?

Reuters
US President Barack Obama pauses while speaking about the shootings in Oregon from the White House in Washington on Oct. 1, 2015.

The Christian community is wondering why US President Barack Obama—nearly a week after the massacre at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon—still has not acknowledged that the nine individuals gunned down by the lone assailant were Christians targeted because of their faith.

On Oct. 1, a gunman entered a classroom and started firing shots. The survivors recalled that the killer, who was reportedly a student in the class, first asked his fellow students one at a time if they were Christians. Those who answered “yes” were reportedly shot in the head, killing them instantly, while those who answered “no” or offered no answer were shot in the legs, leaving them wounded but still alive.

The Christian community is wondering if Obama would have responded differently if homosexuals or Muslims were the targets of that attack instead of Christians, according to Charisma News.

Christian community leaders have been calling on government leaders, particularly Obama, to publicly condemn the brutal act. But so far, there is only silence.

It is in this light that Christian activists will be laying “I Am Christian” signs outside the White House at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

“Any person singled out to be executed because of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or ANY other factor should be unequivocally condemned by our leaders and institutions. That is why it is so troubling that President Obama and the establishment press have been virtually silent on Christians being singled out for execution during the mass shooting in Oregon,” said Reverend Patrick Mahoney, Pastor of the Church on the Hill and Director of Church on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

“It is difficult to believe that several days after the shooting, with the facts fully known, the White House has not addressed and condemned this targeting of Christians for execution because of their faith,” he further said. “The Christian community is left to wonder what the response of President Obama would have been if a person had been asked if they were gay or Muslim and then shot in the head. Our sense is, if President Obama could call Michael Sam and Jason Collins and publicly congratulate them for being openly gay and professional athletes then he should at least publicly condemn the violent targeting of Christians for execution.”

‘Every 5 Minutes a Christian Is Martyred for Their Faith,’

 Persecution Watchdog Group Warns

Christians attend Sunday service in the Virgin Mary Church at Samalout Diocese in Al-Our village, in Minya governorate, south of Cairo, May 3, 2015. Copts have long complained of discrimination under successive Egyptian leaders and Sisi’s actions suggested he would deliver on promises of being an inclusive president who could unite the country after years of political turmoil. However, striking out at extremists abroad might prove easier than reining in radicals at home. Orthodox Copts, the Middle East’s biggest Christian community, are a test of Sisi’s commitment to tolerance, a theme he often stresses in calling for an ideological assault on Islamist militants threatening Egypt’s security.

A persecution watchdog group is warning believers that statistics suggest a Christian is martyred for their faith every five minutes somewhere around the world.

As part of this year’s International Day of Prayer, which falls on Nov. 8, Christian Freedom International is encouraging all Christian churches to join them in praying for the safety of those who are being persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ.

“I encourage you to pray for Persecuted Believers,” CFI president Jim Jacobson said in a statement shared with The Christian Post on Tuesday.

“They are your Christian family throughout the world. Pray for their safety; that they would be emboldened to continue sharing the Gospel even in the face of persecution; that their persecutors would also come to know Christ as they observe the courageous witness of these believers.”

CFI is preparing for the prayer event by offering a free resource kit for churches, which includes posters and bulletin inserts, Sunday school curriculum suggestions, Bible verses speaking about persecution, and other materials.

A number of persecution watchdog groups and activists have used the estimate that a Christian is martyred for their faith every five minutes, including sociologist Massimo Introvigne of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Introvigne said back in June 2011 that every year at least 105,000 people are killed simply because of their faith as Christians — though that number is likely to have grown in the past year with the rise of the Islamic State terror group.

“If these numbers are not cried out to the world, if this slaughter is not stopped, if it is not acknowledged that the persecution of Christians is the first worldwide emergency in the matter of violence and religious discrimination, the dialogue between religions will only produce beautiful conferences but no concrete results,” he said in 2011 at a conference on Christian-Jewish-Muslim interfaith dialogue, according to Zenit.org.

Similar statistics from Caritas Italiana, a charity helping persecuted Christians throughout the world, notes that there are as many as 100 million followers of Christ, along with other religious minorities, who are being targeted for their beliefs.

Beside the widespread persecution throughout the Middle East and Africa, somewhere between 50,000 and 70,000 Christians are also being held in detention camps in North Korea, where Christianity is illegal, the charity said.

Persecution watchdog group Open Doors CEO and President David Curry told CP back in October 2014 that it is important for Christians to prepare for and get together on the annual International Day of Prayer.

“I think it’s important considering all that has happened in the last year, from Iraq to Syria, to the issues of persecution in North Korea; that we have a time here in America to come together and pray as one body of believers for the people who are part of our family, who are persecuted.”

Is Putin’s Next Step to Intervene in Iraq?

Is Putin’s Next Step to Intervene in Iraq?
By Rob Garver

Russian officials on Tuesday agreed to restart meetings with the U.S. military in an effort to establish a system that will prevent the two countries’ forces currently fighting in Syria from coming into accidental conflict.

However, the comments of a top Russian political figure, made during a trip to Jordan on Tuesday, suggest that establishing lines of communication between U.S. forces in the area fighting ISIS and Russian forces apparently supporting Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad may not be enough.

The Kremlin has, in the past week, made several suggestive comments about its willingness to extend its involvement in the Middle East beyond Syrian and into Iraq. On Tuesday, the speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko became the latest to suggest Russia might intervene in Iraq as well.

“In case of an official address from Iraq to the Russian Federation, the leaders of our country would study the political and military expediency of our Air Force’s participation in an air operation. Presently we have not received such an address,” Matviyenko said Tuesday, according to the government-run TASS news agency.

“I want to emphasize that Russia has no other political objectives and no interests other than the defeat of ISIS and that differs us from other nations that participate in another coalition.”

Matviyenko’s comment was not precisely true, as Iraqi officials have publicly said that they would welcome Russian involvement in the fight against ISIS, which could put the Kremlin officials in a bit of a bind if they decide that opening a second front in a new war is more than they want to take on at present.

Her comments Tuesday weren’t the only discordant note struck by Russian politicians on the topic of Syria recently. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in particular, has insisted that the objective of Russian forces in Syria is to fight ISIS — even as multiple sources have reported that the target of most of Russia’s attacks has been rebels fighting Assad rather than ISIS fighters.

In addition, it was only Monday when Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov, of the Russian parliament’s Defense Committee, said that Russian volunteers would likely be fighting in Syria soon. In an article covering Komoyedov’s remarks, state-controlled media even noted the pay being offered Russians willing to fight for Assad — the equivalent of $50 a day.

On Tuesday, though, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the idea that Russian volunteers might be fighting in Syria was wrong.

“There is no information on that matter. I can repeat it officially once again: there are no official campaigns on participation in ground operations,” she said, according to Russian news media. “No one officially recruits any volunteers. I think it is just about somebody saying something in improper terms or somebody misinterpreting something.”

She continued, “Of course, there are a lot of public figures, politicians and lawmakers in Russia who have their own opinion and who have the right to express it. We provide comments on our official position and it has just one interpretation: there are no and can be no ground operations, there are no and can be no land troops. And the Russia leaders have said it officially.”

What sounds like a definitive statement that Russia will not commit ground troops to Syria was, however, directly challenged by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with CNN on Tuesday.

“So we have seen a substantial military buildup by Russia in Syria, both in the air with the combat planes and air defense systems, but also an increasing number of ground troops,” he said. “In addition to that, they have deployed naval assets, a large number of naval assets close to the Syrian shores. And they continue to do so.”

More than a few foreign policy analysts have suggested that Putin doesn’t actually have much of a long-term plan in the Middle East and that he’s making things up as he goes along. The conflicting messages coming out of the Kremlin and Parliament suggest that might actually be the case.

American Christian Keith Broomfield was killed in June 2015 while fighting alongside the Kurdish Protection Unit (YPG) against ISIS in Syria.

American Christian Keith Broomfield was killed last week while fighting ISIS alongside the Kurds in Syria, and his pastor says he would smile at Muslims who were hostile toward his faith and make a cross over his heart.

Pastor Gary Moritz of Twin City Baptist Church in Massachusetts, where Broomfield, 36, used to attend, told The Christian Post on Friday that Broomfield “wanted to serve the Lord” and traveled to Turkey and Syria in order to help the Kurds.

“The Kurds have been calling him the first Christian martyr to fight against ISIS,” said Moritz.

He wasn’t sure what Broomfield would do when he got there and the last time they spoke was in February via email.

“He [told me] he was keeping his Bible open and walking around. He couldn’t speak the language. He said it’s amazing what happens [with the locals] as they either want to know more about the Bible, or you have a devout Muslim who gets totally angry,” said Moritz to CP.

Moritz spent time with Broomfield praying about the decision before he finally left for Turkey.

The pastor described Broomfield as a dedicated Christian and said he found Christ after doing jail time. Broomfield regularly attended church service and was heavily involved.

“Keith definitely had some [demons] from his past, but he also focused mainly on his future and how he can impact the world for Christ,” said Moritz.

News of Broomfield’s death at the hands of ISIS was “heart wrenching” for Moritz who said he now understands why Broomfield felt called to help the Kurds.

“That was the purpose God had for him,” continued Moritz. “Our church definitely looks to him as a patriot. To stand up for the Christian faith and to fight against the evil that’s coming against our countries and other countries. He was willing to make a difference.”

Broomfield left for his journey that ended in Syria four months ago, according to his family. His death was confirmed by the U.S. State Department on Wednesday.

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Kobani, Syria, on Thursday waving flags and applauding while Broomfield’s body was delivered over the Turkey border.

Broomfield’s parents learned of his death on Tuesday, according to NBC.

“I went to my kids and I just cried with them about it,” said Keith’s father, Tom, to NBC. “It’s tough, but we have peace about it.”

Broomfield is the first American volunteer soldier to be killed while fighting with the Kurds against ISIS.

I pray

I pray that the Lord forgive me for my sins, those which I commit because of human nature & that He gives me the wisdom to know those sins which easily beset me and cause me to stumble.

I pray for my family, that the Lord would forgive them for their sins, I also pray for their salvation & that they come to the Lord with a humble and repentant heart.

I pray as my Savior did on the evening before His death, not for the world, but for those whom the Father gave His Son out of the world.
For those who believe in the Name of the Son of God, I ask Father that You forgive Your children. Those who are in the world but who are not part of this world.
I ask Father, that Your Spirit guide their hearts and minds to Your Son. That they understand that judgment must begin in Your House and with Your children first.

I pray Lord, for the peace of Jerusalem and for those in Israel. That they would come to the knowledge of Your Son.
I ask that You forgive their sins Lord.
Also Lord that Your Spirit would sift the wheat from the chaff of those who claim to know You.

Father, as persecution continues to grow against Your children I pray that You strengthen those faithful Lord, who are counted worthy to suffer for Your glory.
I pray Father that You glorify Your children and that You remember the promises given to the fathers of the faithful
Remember their faith and love Lord, please help us to remember Your words in our hour of need.
I ask Father, that You remember Your children and bless them with Your love Lord my God.

I pray Father, that Your grace will touch the hearts of those brethren in the Middle East, both the Assyrian and Coptic Christians and those others who are suffering unto blood for their faith in the name of Your Son, Jesus.

As persecution comes to our doorstep Father, here in a country that was created for Your glory. I pray my Lord and God, that Your Spirit will convict the believers of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Father, please sift them Lord and separate the fat from the lean, when You judge Your house Father, please judge those faithful in mercy and not in anger.
Father, let Your anger and wrath fall upon those deceivers Lord, who pervert Your word & grace & who lead astray Your children.
Help Your children to stand Father, both here and abroad. Those who suffer unto blood and those who stand next in line.
Help us to stand in the liberty that Your Son has provided Father, both from sin and the wicked schemes of men.

I pray that Your love shines down again on Your children Father and that You allow and help us to be a light in a world going headlong into the darkness of the abyss.

In Jesus name I pray, amen.

A man thing?

I read today on Drudge about a retailer providing womens lingere designed for men.
I thought to myself, another success for the pansexualists. Gender confusion seems to be a running theme in our age of mindless activities.
I don’t guess the simple biological terms Geno or Pheno are applicable to humanity anymore.

Another sign of our new enlightenment into human sexuality.

Those who hold a pure and sincere belief in the Sacred Scriptures, those Words which define so much, you would think that they, the faithful, would reject these absurd and intellectually redundant notions of unrestrained vice and promiscuity.
But alas, the mainstream western Christian community remains silent and in some cases embrace the wickedness.

To those false shepherds who are leading their flocks away from the truth, may the Lord judge you according to your sin.

So is it a man thing?
No, its a SIN thing.
