10. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
12. Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
13. Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14. Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15. Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
16. The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
17. LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18. To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

The Beginning’s
Genesis 2:6. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Mankind had its beginning when the first human received his soul from the Father, the Creator breathing life into Adams being. Woman soon followed as well as the fall of mankind with our expulsion from the Garden. From these parents came all mankind, before and after the flood through Noah and his progeney. Science seems to confirm what we already knew.
The world of fallen mankind may want to deny and live in their world of lies but having faith in our Creator and His recorded books gives believers insight most refuse to accept.
Psalms 53:1. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
While the world looks at the universe without any acceptance of GOD, we can see how their minds have gone backwards and not forward. Their desire is to prove their beliefs without acknowledging the Divine, their lives have become filthy because they refuse to seek God.
In Romans chapter One we read and can get a clearer picture of the worlds view of the Divine:
18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
They became vain in their imaginations, placing the creature before the Creator. Today, in the first day of 2019 of the Gregorian calendar, we can see all of the above statements clearly defined around the world, just open any site with newswires and wickedness abounds across the world with little or no mention of our GOD.
All beginnings have an ending, for the faithful the final ending is going to start out harsh, but we retain that promise that when the harsh has passed our Savior will return as King to rule, and wickedness will be done away with.
So from beginning to end, our GOD is in control.
Happy New Year
Scripture of the Day
Psalms 1
1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Scripture of the Day
1 Corinthians 13
1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Looking Back
Reflecting on many things from the past year of ones life, it can be both easy and difficult at times to see how the Lord moves in ones life. The difficulty comes when we often, in faithlessness try to make our way appear to be GOD’s way. We do this or that thinking GOD’s will is going to guide us when its nothing more than ourselves seeking justification for our own actions, our own self righteousness.
Affiliating our mistakes to the will of the Divine is so wrong, our Father allows us to live and make mistakes, none of which is HIS will or choosing. We ask for guidance and expect Him to tell us something, if we ask in faith and not seeking our own glorification He may well give us a direct answer, generally its only those subtle nudges and quiet whispers in our heart. Regardless, our actions should never be about our own glory or righteousness.
When events line up, and it looks like the Lord is blessing our lives, or our decisions its one of the most spiritually exhilarating times to be alive, seeing prayers answered, whether large or small, those things we asked for are set before our face, its like the Lord is laying out the papers and drawing part of His plan for our lives.
It seems that after 38yrs of being a wayward child of God, I think I can say that my time of wandering is almost done, with Solomon I can read this Ecclesiastes 1:13. And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith… and nod in agreement. Knowing doesn’t equate wisdom, nor does knowing give understanding, both of these come either with time or blessing or both. I prefer to thank the Father for the little bit of wisdom I have concerning life.
Looking back & seeing where we failed should be a learning experience but for some it isn’t.
Having a desire and curiosity for the Divine, to me, seems a natural occurrance. Its part of human nature to seek for something greater than ourselves. It’s that spiritual part of our being that holds that little knowledge of our Creator, even if pur flesh refuses to acknowledge it. There is coming a day, not to distant, when this Scripture will hold true, Hebrews 8:10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11. And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
That time is what we should be focusing on. The now, its important, without a doubt, but the faithful, their future is their Blessed Hope.
So take the time and reflect, look to see how you think the Lord has blessed your last year in this life, just remember though, blessings include those valley’s as well.
GOD Bless.
