I think enough time has passed

Concerning Charlie Kirk

My heart, sympathies, and prayers go out to the family of Charlie Kirk, I ask that the Lord give his wife and children solace in their time to grief and loss.

I’m not going to write much about the man Charlie Kirk, he accomplished much good for the faith, for this country, and ideas and life had positively influenced millions, directly and indirectly.

Not having met the man personally, I did on occasion listen to him online. I was impressed with his passion and strengths, but like all humans he had his shortcomings. One of the primary reasons I didn’t concern myself with his work was his unwavering support for political zionism.

I’m not anti-jewish nor anti-religious zionist, Our Creator was the very first official Zionist as expressed in Psalms 2

6. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

There are dozens of verses referencing Zion as Holy as well as being the habitation and throne of the Messiah, the Son of GOD. So anyone who wants to throw out a senseless label 🏷,  go away dumb dumb.

I didn’t and still do not agree with the modern iteration of political zionism. I think it’s taken the nation of Israel in the wrong direction. It’s attempts at manipulation of foreign sovereign nations through blackmail and other means to me is sickening.

The wholesale genocide and atrocities being committed against others is at some point, going to draw down the wrath of the Almighty.

The jewish faith and people of Hebrew descent do have a place in the coming of the Messianic Age but they’re going to go through judgment just like everyone else before that Age arrives. Modern day Israel (which includes people of various faiths and ethnicities living in political Israel) is not above reproach, they are human as well and make mistakes. Their histories as recorded in the Old Testament record their continual screwups.

Across generations the descendants of Jacob continually fell away from their faith, they turned their backs to their God, they were judged, punished, they repented and were forgiven. Israel wasn’t perfect then and it isn’t perfect now.

Israel, like every country, has the inherent right to defend itself, it’s people, and nation against others, but that doesn’t confer the right to commit genocide.

Here I’ll let Charlie Kirk expand on that thought which I agree with him completely here.

Scripture of the Day

Proverbs 5

3. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
4. But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.
5. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
6. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

I’m sure these can be words can apply to males as well.

Scripture of the Day

Psalms 142

Maschil of David; A Prayer when he was in the cave.
1. I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2. I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
3. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4. I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5. I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Scripture of the Day

Revelations 14

9. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

From verses 14 through 19 we have two separate reaping’s identified with two doing the reaping, one looked to be the Son of Man or Jesus, this in my opinion is the rapture. With the other being a different angel gathering the grapes or whatever it is to be used for the wrath of GOD.

In the prior verses 9 through 11 we read and see the end result of those who worship the beast or antichrist and it isn’t a pretty picture. Verse 9 identifies their sin, “…If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,…”. These things are mentioned here in verse 9 as identifiers for GOD’S wrath:

1. Worshipping the beast or his image

    2. Receiving the mark on or in their right hand or forehead

These people chose to turn away from the love of the Father as expressed through the Son Jesus the Christ, instead choosing a false Messiah.

In these verses we see almost the final separation of humanity into believer and unbelievers. Here we may well have an identifier for the potential timing of the so-called rapture, this among other examples are why I lean towards the prewrath interpretation of the rapture and dismiss the common dispensationalist view of a pretribulational eschatology.

Bless GOD and have a blessed day.

    Scripture of the Day

    Revelations 11

    3. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
    4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
    5. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
    6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
    7. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
    8. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
    9. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
    10. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
    11. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
    12. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
    13. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
    14. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

The two witnesses described in the Revelations has been discussed at length for hundreds of years concerning who they are, from Enoch and Elijah to Moses and Elijah to John and Moses. I’ll wait till their ministry starts before I personally attempt at identifying them.

That said I do think a couple of verses need to be mentioned that are often overlooked or have little mention. One being verse 6, “….shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy:….”. Here we read they have the power to shut down the rain, turning off the water that keeps the people fed. Personally I wonder if this will be regional or global in nature and affect. Aside from the other plagues which may very well mimic those of Egypt, a global and even large-scale regional droughts would have disastrous consequences.

During their 3 1/2 year ministry the earth will be suffering from the antichrist’s war against believers as well as the unsaved being plagued by the ministry of these two Godly men as they can strike cities or regions or even the world with plagues as often as they desire.

During this time in human history, the end of our age, mankind’s heart will still be in a state of rebellion against the Most High. With all the signs and wonders of this period people will refuse to acknowledge their own Creator. Yes some will repent, but the majority will choose to remain in their fallen state, loving self more than God, refusing to accept the one who loved them so much He gave His own Son to die for them.

The two witnesses will lead from Jerusalem, where they’ll also be killed and rise again the third day, just as our Savior Jesus did.

Pretribulational eschatology teaches believers will not see these two, but since I lean towards the prewrath position, I do believe we will.

Either way, they are serving the purpose of the Father.

Bless GOD and have a blessed day.

    Scripture of the Day

    Revelation 7

    1. And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
    2. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
    3. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

I know when many people speak about the events which occur during the Tribulation as described in the Book of Revelations the generally give the 4 winds a pass through mention. I think that is a grave mistake considering the simple fact winds can easily destroy many things. Whether in the form of tornadoes or hurricanes 🌀 and typhoons, winds can and do have catastrophic effects.

What do these Scriptures tell us? I believe at the point mentioned, the numbering, that after that not only mega storms and tornadoes will erupt but events with straight line winds will become a norm during this period.

Imagine the affects if the wind streams that move our weather patterns dipped to surface level, without storms, just out of a clear blue shy we begin encountering 175+ mph winds. Winds would devastate entire communities and areas, all because it is part of the Lords judgments.

Most probably hold a pretribulational view, I hold a prewrath view myself, believing Christians will see most of the so-called Endtime and that the rapture will occur near or before the last year or so of the Tribulations. Just my personal thoughts there.

Bless God and have a blessed day.

    Scripture of the Day

    Psalm 103

    1. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
    4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
    5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    Scripture of the Day

    Galatians 1

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Here we read that after Paul’s conversion, after he regained his sight he tells us he went to Arabia for three years. Yes there will be Neverending arguments whether Sinai was considered part of Arabia in Paul’s day, I’ll give this link for my opinion, Arabia in Paul’s time. With that said, why or where in Arabia did he go?

Personally, I think he went to Arabia to be taught about Christ by Christ himself.

Paul’s ministry, his style of communicating and the breadth of his ministry is astounding. He and the 12 apostles who knew Jesus changed the world in ways no others have. Their faith in a risen Savior, their love and humility, and their perseverance through persecution set the world fire with the Spirit of God.

To know more simply open a New Testament and ask God for wisdom to know Him. I’m sure your heart and mind will learn much that will change your life.

    Scripture of the Day

    John 6

    29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
    30. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
    31. Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
    32. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
    33. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
    34. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
    35. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
    36. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
    37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
    38. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
    39. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
    40. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
    41. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

After seeing and experiencing the feeding of the five thousand those same people asked to see a sign after having their bellies filled. The crowd couldn’t grasp the ideas and truths Jesus was laying before them and as their subject matter still focused on their stomachs, ie their physical needs and they couldn’t understand the spiritual aspects of what He was saying.

Jesus came to give life, in Christ our spiritual hunger and thirst is filled.

    Scripture of the Day

    Luke 20

    1. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
    2. And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
    3. And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
    4. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?
    5. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?
    6. But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
    7. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
    8. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

When religious leaders are more concerned about public opinion than what’s right, they’re no longer leaders as they’ve become follower’s, fearful of what people will think of them.

    Morning Thoughts

I’ve been reading through several articles concerning Berlin in the 20’s, it was a liberal hotbed of sin, sexual deviance, and a miniseries called Babylon Berlin exists. It would seem cocaine and any other substance could be acquired there as well.

I also read through a couple of articles about a recent book called Burning Psalms. It was written by a Jewish man with family who died in the holocaust.

Reading through a few excerpts gives me the impression this man doesn’t understand his own Holy Books. He seems to want to blame the Father for not miraculously saving the Jews who perished in the holocaust, he seems to be attempting to condemn the Father’s saving of David while letting others die.

He seems to forget Deuteronomy 28:15 and the curses that follow for his people’s faithlessness and sin.

How does this correlate to the first part of this post? Well regardless of what is in the mainstream or acceptable there were numerous Jewish entities pushing both the communism and leftist of that time, just as they do today in Hollywood and other places of influence.

Perhaps the holocaust was a judgment on the sins of the people, not only Jews but Poles, Austrians, Slovakia, Christians and millions of others for their sins. I’m not going to say definitively  this was the cause but it could possibly fit.

    Deuteronomy 28
    15. But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
    16. Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
    17. Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.
    18. Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
    19. Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
    20. The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
    21. The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.
    22. The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.
    23. And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.
    24. The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
    25. The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
    26. And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
    27. The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.
    28. The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
    29. And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
    30. Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
    31. Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.
    32. Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.
    33. The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:
    34. So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
    35. The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.
    36. The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
    37. And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
    38. Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
    39. Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
    40. Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.
    41. Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.
    42. All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.
    43. The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
    44. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
    45. Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
    46. And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
